About

As a Certified Hand Therapist and Occupational Therapist with over 20+ years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals recover from injuries and conditions affecting the hand and upper extremity-from minor strains to complex trauma and post-surgical rehabilitation. I understand how essential our hands are to nearly every aspect of life, from work to self-care to recreation and independence. My mission is to provide personalized, evidence-based care in a compassionate, one-on-one setting, empowering each individual to restore function, reduce pain, and confidently return to the activities that matter most.

Donna Sparagna, Certified Hand Therapist at Thrive Hand Therapy

My clinical approach centers on patient education and therapeutic exercise, recognizing that meaningful recovery extends far beyond our time together in the clinic. Because treatment sessions represent only a small fraction of your week, my goal is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take an active role in your recovery. Treatment is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs and may include custom splinting, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic modalities, functional task analysis, ergonomic education, wound care, joint and nerve mobilization, kinesio taping, and other evidence-based techniques designed to restore function and optimize outcomes.
